We had a fun lunch with Lindsay, baby Andrew, Kelly, and Kate and then had a delicious cupcake. We got home, and I just knew it would be naptime, but it wasn’t. Alaina has not been sleeping well lately. She’s been waking up numerous times during the night crying and waking up before 6. What? I really hope this is just a phase. Maybe she needs a night light? I try to let her fall back to sleep on her own, but sometimes I have to go down there. She usually wakes up in the morning just talking and babbling, but she’s been crying when it’s still dark out. This has been going on for a week now.
I should know to never tell a kid to say, “Cheese!”

Yay! Spring is on it’s way! I know you’re so excited, Mom.

Oh it is most likely a phase. Ethan has had those, they are so frustrating. Now we can usually tell him it’s still dark out and he goes back to sleep. Although today was a snow day and he was up at 6:30 (normal time) but how do we get him to understand snow days?
I hope so! I don’t like getting up so early or if I do, I like to have an hour or so to get stuff done before she wakes up. Ethan will get snow days soon! He’ll want to get up early to go play in it.
